Hello Everyone -
There are many and various talented individuals in the Camarilla capable of
turning mundane materials such as paper, pencil, and paint into incredible
works of art. Well, ICC 2009 in Atlanta, GA needs your help – and we’re
even willing to offer you nifty prizes in return!
We’re asking our more artistically inclined members to design a t-shirt logo
for ICC 2009 and submit it to us for consideration. The person who presents
the winning entry will not only get to see their design all over the
convention, but will receive a free badge for this year’s event (for
themselves or a person of their choosing if they already have a Free ICC
Pass from a previous event) along with a selection of signed books, one
staff t-shirt and one artist goody we can’t mention yet! This contest is
open to any member of the Camarilla in good standing.
As we all know, ICC is “the big one” when it comes to Camarilla conventions,
and not just any logo will do. When designing your entry, please keep the
following criteria in mind:
1) The logo needs to translate well to multiple mediums – program book
printing, t-shirts, web, etc.
2) The logo should not appear completely out of place when presented next to
the Camarilla or White Wolf logos.
3) Although not necessary, logos that reflect the host city (Atlanta, GA)
may score bonus points in the judging.
The deadline for submissions will be midnight on June 15th, 2009. All
entries must be sent in digital format (scan or digital picture) to Ric
Connely (ric at ricbyrne.com ). Entries must include the following:
1) The logo submission in jpeg or tiff formats, 300 DPI. Full Color. Not to
exceed 6×8 inches in size.
2) If your design is too complex for t-shirt printing, please also send a
simplified version suitable in B&W. (Remember our staff shirts are primary
colors)
2) The artist’s name, Camarilla number, and contact information.
3) The following statement: “I state that the attached piece of artwork is
my own original creation.”
So, ladies and gentlemen – start your pencils!
Thanks,
Ric Connely
